Some of the most important equipment at Studio 250 is made just down the road.

Hand-built in Stroud, Gloucestershire, our ATC SCM25A Pro MkII monitors are at the heart of our control area. Renowned for their exceptional clarity, detailed midrange and precise stereo imaging, they allow us to hear every detail of a recording and make confident decisions throughout the production process.

It's something we're particularly proud of: world-class British audio engineering, built right here in Gloucestershire and trusted in studios across the globe. A local connection that plays a part in every record we make.

Every piece of equipment at Studio 250 is carefully maintained and regularly serviced to ensure it performs at its best. From vintage analogue gear to modern digital systems, we take pride in keeping our equipment in excellent working condition, so you can focus on making music without interruptions.

We're proud to work with local amplifier builder RD Amplification, bringing some truly exceptional, hand-built valve amplifiers into Studio 250.

Based right here in the Forest of Dean, founder Rob Dix has spent over 30 years designing and building bespoke amplifiers. From the rich, responsive cleans of the Custom 8-Ball to the powerful, driven character of the Dualist XL, these are amplifiers built with a real understanding of what makes a great guitar sound.
